I think it's miswriting of history to say it's because he was "friendly" with the unions. He was also let go from Septa - for reasons I do not know. What he has been "consulting" on for the past 10 years, I haven't a clue. But how this resume makes him the standout candidate to run the largest transit agency in the country is baffling. I think it's dumbing down the position which will have ramifcations throughout the agency. Roberts was fired because he held a party in a depot and served booze.
