Hundreds were waiting for the M20 bus all along my walk. No bus passed me in the hour or so it took me to get downtown. I wonder when all those people will get to work???? It's a nightmare down there. At least, however, the trains themselves have working AC . . . if you're on a platform, you're screwed. On a train with a book, not so bad. I ended up walking across town from 7th Ave to 3rd Ave on 53rd, because the E line was going nowhere. Two insane lightning storms in one week . . .
