		<description>Last night I returned from a Long Island family Thanksgiving gathering to Roosevelt Island via the LIRR to Jamaica and procceded with an E to F combination back tro RI.  It was the easiest way back and certainly a lot of faster than heading all the way back to Penn Station then back to RI.  

As always the NYC subways are a gift no matter how much we grumble at fare increases and service disruptions.  No City has a better system than ours.</description>
