My friend, I’ve seen the original movie “The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3″ on TV many times, including the one that was filmed in Toronto in the late 90s, which it should have been called the “The Taking of Bloor-Danforth One Two Three”, since it never came close to the original one flimed in NYC.

I’m very glad that the producers of the remake of “The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3″ have the forsight to film it in New York. Because the real New Yorkers, like myself, know their subway.

Actually if you accompany the MetroCard re-stockers and MVM maintenance folks you carry a gun! Not sure if you wear an orange vest though.

Mr. Scott and his crew were filming in my area, near the 61st St and Roosevelt Ave stop (Woodside), for a couple days two weeks or so back.

A re: packing heat, maybe that’s why the station agents are now roaming around instead of being planted behind all that Plexiglas. Heh.
