Power outages affecting subway service into Brooklyn

As the Daily News reports, power outages in Brooklyn and a smoke situation at 59th St. is disrupting subway travel between Manhattan and Brooklyn. The MTA has service advisories on the 2, 3, 4, F and G lines, and riders are urged to seek alternate routes right now. Keep your eye on this MTA service alert as the evening goes on.

I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow if/when we hit 100 degrees… It might be a good idea to bring an extra change of summer clothes to work in case I have to walk it!
