The Bronx has seen no improvement in bus service, other than the Bx12 Limited becoming "Bx12 Select Service" and some camera-d buses. The actual frequency of service has not changed!!! The MTA needs to work out the frequency of buses and the actual routes to better serve the community here. The Bx22 for instance will be packed, 3 or 4 buses together at some times. At others you'll have buses close (though not on) to schedule and relatively empty. Many of the routes that are not via a certian avenue here need to be examined. The Bx1/Bx2 (Grand Concourse line) gains passengers daily but seems to be lose service frequency.

Clearly, the MTA has never been on the Q46 at 5am, or 8am, or 1pm or 3pm or 7pm, or 10pm when this bus is way past crush load and in fact, the poor people who live west of 164th street don't even have the bus stop for them as the bus is too crowded.

Oh but wait, it's the 2nd week of July, it's perfect time to put those people counters on the busses when school's out, and people are on vaction...that'll lead to an accurate representation of the crowding situation on the Q46
