Fun, fun, fun ’til the MTA takes their T-Birds away
ByHot on the heels of the MetroCard scandal, the MTA is now taking away company cars from employers making more than enough money to afford their own transportation. As part of MTA CEO and Executive Director Lee Sander’s cost-cutting efforts, 59 company cars have been recalled from the field, according to The Daily News. The MTA is attempting to limit non-rider miles and gas expenditures. Perhaps, these executives and high-ranking officials can now take the subway.
