The first search I did (on the LIRR, not the subways) showed a way to take the 5:45am train from Hicksville to Penn Station in just 25 minutes with two non-existant transfers. A direct, express train actually takes 40 minutes, and the previously mentioned (local) 5:45am train really takes 50 minutes. If Google can come up with a way to make my commute twice as fast, I'll praise them to no end, but until then I'll chalk it up to a programming or data error. (And no, I don't normally take a train that early!) It still needs some work.
