		<description>THe trees are extremely old and in some cases Elms Trees, which are ferociously defended by the Parks Dept. 

Some of the folks at NYCT Dept. of Buses contend that the doubledeckers have a system of avoiding low hanging branches - its called the steering wheel - but, of course, all it would take would be one bus taking out an antique Elm Tree on 5th Ave, and there would be arboreal hell to pay...</description>
