Checking in on the MetroCard Challenge

by Benjamin Kabak

In my second annual MetroCard Challenge, I passed two important milestones this week. Monday marked day 15 of the challenge, and on Wednesday, I passed the $2-per-ride mark. Not counting today’s trips, I’ve now swiped my 30-Day Unlimited Ride MetroCard 44 times in 18 days for an average cost-per-ride of $1.84. To check up on how everyone else is doing or add your own name to the challenge, navigate to this Google Spreadsheet.
