I doubt that too many out-of-towners will trek into the city with their Pay-Per-Ride card just to ride the Lex Line without pants. Same thing for the city-dwelling Taxi-and-Limo-only crowd; this isn't the day for them to buy a Metrocard and delve into the deep, dark, dangerous subway, sans trousers. It's a good thought, though.
