Hell, I’ll kick in another dollar if we don’t have to go thru one of these weekends ever again. I just waited 30 minutes for a D, which I would normally not even take except for the usual weekend clusterf**k at Queensboro Plaza comdemning me to two more transfers than expected. Argh!

can someone please find out why the g train isnt running to 71st continental for like the past 3 years on weekends and sometimes on weekdays…i feel its a conspiracy to ween everyone into the court square terminal feeling…and then just pull away the queens segment with people not caring cuz it never runs there anyways

The reason “None of the above” isn’t an option is because there has to be some sort of fare hike/service cut combo put in place. The MTA right now doesn’t have the option not to raise fares and/or cut service.

“None of the above”. Sorry, I can’t see the benefit of either option. The worst part is, in two months we’ll all adjust to whatever changes are made and not care about it until the budget comes due again. This is just like that episode of South Park (“when you have to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich”).

Thankfully, it’s spring so I’ll be commuting by bicycle until November. Good luck, y’all!

Although $3 would be a pain in the short run, the long-term benefits of a more effective, self-sufficient transit system cannot be overstated.

I voted for the $3 fare also. Service really needs to be expanded right now not reduced. For anyone that travels overnights service is horrendous, it will be much worse with the proposed cuts.

The base fare should be $3 dollars no matter what.

I want to see the same level of service. $125/month is still a bargain compared to what a car note, insurance, maintenance, time stuck in traffic, and parking cost.

I too chose $3 because although the proposed cuts don’t affect my commute (I think), I don’t want to see *any* cuts. I don’t drive so I have to get around off-hours too.

To pay $.50 more for crappy service is worse than going the full dollar and still getting the reasonable service that at least lets us get around. Mobility is worth the cost.
