There are no F Trains running below the 2nd Avenue Station, and the E trains replacing the F trains stop at the 2nd Avenue stations. As far as I can tell, there is no way to get to Delancey Street going downtown, obviously the same for E Broadway and York Street. I don't blame you for missing this because the MTA neglected to put this information out in its service advisories. The only notice that I found was a sign on the downtown platform for the F at 2nd Avenue. The service advisory talks about the E line running on the F but omits the part about F trains not running or no downtown F trains getting service.

Waited for the 6 at Spring Street, normally the most reliable late late night service, for an hour and a half last night before bailing and taking a cab. We're getting the threatened service cutbacks anyway, but by stealth?

I'm just curious, could you explain something about this weekend's changes?
About the "PATH SUPPORT STEEL", doesn't the PATH run alongside the F under 6th Avenue?
What does the #1 under 7th Avenue have to do with the PATH?
