Looks like whoever wrote up that alert accidentally substituted "express" for "local."

As it says in the post, these are alerts as I get them from the MTA and are subject to change without notice.

The stopping pattern I just saw on the 4 is different from this given by your post. Heading downtown, the 4 ran local, at least from 68th, where I got on; heading uptown, it ran express from Brooklyn Bridge to 14th, but then made all local stops. The conductor said that the 5 would provide express service north of 42nd instead.

Because of the Jay St. work (presumably on the tracks that the F normally uses), the F is rerouted to Euclid Ave., replacing the C.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20, there is no C service due to Jay Street station rehabilitation and construction of the underground connector. A trains replace the C making local stops between 168th Street and Jay Street and F trains replace the C between Jay Street and Euclid Avenue.

I don't understand this rerouting. The C doesn't separate from the A until after Hoyt-Schermerhorn; what does Jay St have to do with it?

I was wondering if anyone could figure out exactly where they filmed the video, triangulating from the various listed subway stops.
