The ramps on the eastern side of the complex (connecting the A/C and southbound J/Z/M with the 2/3) were already closed for demolition a month or two ago - there's a new staircase (seemingly temporary) in their place. There's also no direct access from the southbound J/Z/M platform to the 2/3 mezzanine anymore - you have to go down to the A/C platform and back up. That had better be temporary. (It's bad enough that, even once this entire project is complete, there still won't be any way to get from the western end to the eastern end without using part of the A/C platform!)

I guess we're going to see something similar on the western side of the complex in a week.

Like I've said before, the situation is ridiculous regarding the way they reopened the Cortlandt St. N/R/W station, then closed it again, and now reopened only half of it.
The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, or I should say, "The left side of Church St. doesn't know what the right side of Church St. is doing.

I'm ready for the whole Dey St connector thing and the various Cortlandt street stations to come back already. It can't be too soon.

If they were smart, they'd hire the person who makes the subwayweekender maps and makes it mta.info/subwayweekender and there would be a whole series of maps that match up with the weekend service advisories and special repeating situations like this.

Got the map from the MTA. I'll suggest to them that they make these available on their website. They're very helpful.

Yes, it's quite encouraging to see them come up with a nice map like that so quickly. Of course, this is a bigger mess than usual. But I agree that they should do this more often.

Where do you get the LSM JPEG file from? I wish the MTA would make more of these for the service changes though. It's the next best thing to an official SubwayWeekender.

At least the Fulton St. work IS progressing at a "fairly brisk pace".
Wouldn't it be great if we could say the same thing about the Second Ave. Subway work?
