The old Penn station was destroyed and then replaced with that underground "dungeon", but Penn Station IS open 24 hours. Crosstown buses run on routes that are NOT "duplicated" by subways. Why don't they combine the M20 and M10 into ONE bus route, like it WAS for all of those years, and let ALL of the crosstown buses run seven days? About the M8:

The Greenport branch of the LIRR will completely lose service, except for summer weekends. And the Atlantic Avenue branch completely will lose late-night service.
