Home Service Advisories Three-day weekend service changes

Three-day weekend service changes

by Benjamin Kabak

Good old Memorial Day. While the solstice won’t arrive until late June, this three-day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. The city will start to empty out on weekends as temperatures climb. Still work underground continues apace.

For this three-day weekend, the MTA will run trains on a Sunday schedule on Monday. To confuse everyone, some of these service changes will be in effect until Tuesday morning while others will end on Monday morning. SubwayWeekender has two maps with all of the changes, and remember that these are subject to change without notice. Listen to on board announcements and pay attention to signs in your local station. Barring any breaking news, I’ll be back on Tuesday morning after the long weekend.

My mistake, Petey. I had coded something incorrectly, and it has since been fixed.
