It’s Marathon Weekend — which usually means fewer subway changes. But not this weekend. The 1 isn’t running between 96th and 242nd Sts., and there are a slew of other changes that will make travel a little rough. Anyway, as a note, these no longer have the explanation for the change because the MTA stopped providing it. These come from them. Enjoy the costumes tonight if you’re still out.

I saw a few Nassau Avenue-bound G shuttle busses this morning. I guess that’s to make service a little better than “20 minutes between Long Island City-Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs.” They can’t run this route for most of Sunday due to the marathon, which will make for quite packed G-trains in the Greenpoint area, which gets tons of spectators.
No that’s becuase there were switch problems at Court SQ
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the insight.
