I noticed that the cold weather plan is in effect. The 4 and 5 is running local and the 2/3 is local too.
The D train service change has been updated
The brooklyn section of the D train will make local stops and operate to/from Whitehall St
I think because of the NBA all stars game to give riders connections at Jay Metrotech for the A/C and F, Borough Hall for the 4, and Whitehall st for the ferry. Than dumping at Atlantic Ave causing more problems.
It seems to me that the issue is that they cannot terminate at Atlantic. While this would initially have been because of the Plan 4, for some reason N trains are currently running express northbound… which removes the possibility of D trains ending at Atlantic but for a different reason.
I wonder why they need only 1 day for the N to Astoria shutdown? Since I have noticed lots of issues occurring north of 57th street especially the 60th street tunnel. They should allow 1 complete weekend to fix the Astoria portion like signals and switches.
It’s actually 2 days (according to the shuttle bus stop signs outside Ditmars Blvd and on the N trains
I checked the MTA site and it says only 1 day shutdown that it.
That’s a good idea, but tell that to the NIMBY’s who don’t like any suspensions of the N train AND who hate late night noise
Are Cuomo’s nipples hard enough to cut glass? Might be time for another shutdown!
Bolwerk,
Have you been watching “The Other Woman” with Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann & Kate Upton again? LOL
