But on the bright side for the R,6,M riders these lines are being extended.
I was in Manhattan along 6 and 8 Avs yesterday and there just weren’t enough employees on the platforms explaining what was going on with the (F) reroute. Lots of confusion among tourists.
Went through 59th St / 4 Ave N/R station this afternoon, and there was major construction on the southbound express track. It was blocked off and there was major racket with jackhammers etc
Weekends like this require the B train to run to Coney Island. Lotta people going there, so this would keep things moving.
Seems there was some catastrophe at Canal St on the 8th Av line again today? Alerts said no C train, F trains via A, F trains cut at Church (why??), and so on. I happened to be coming from JFK and a C train arrived at Howard Beach, made A train stops until Euclid, then went out of service. That’s a new one, Northbound C train from Far Rock, terminating at Euclid…
Later, an A train rolled in and made express stops in Brooklyn, at least until I got off. I don’t suppose anything was coming for the Fulton Local riders.
