An almost, somewhat-not-too-bad weekend of subway service

By

So today’s St. Patrick’s day, and everyone wants to get around town. The 7 is running; the 2 and 3 are running down the West Side and into Brooklyn but not on the express tracks in Manhattan. The C is still taking weekends off. And the L is more than a little funky this weekend. So without further ado, click here for all of your weekend service advisories.

  1. Todd says:

Considering what a mess everything could have been, The Subway actually wasn’t all that bad yesterday. Sure, there were a lot of people on every train, but they ran fairly regularly. What shocked me was the fact that I didn’t see puke anywhere. Either people held it in or The MTA actually cleaned it up.

    Shocking.

  2. There was some scattered puke on Saturday night, but nothing too terrible. I guess that they had the cleaning crews out in force. But because of the snow, the garbage wasn’t really picked up this weekend. Now, that was a big mess on Saturday night especially around 1:30 a.m. at Grand Army Plaza.
