Have you seen the latest from Massimo Vignelli’s former associates? To carry on his memory, some of Vignelli’s friends and co-workers have started a new design shop called SuperWarmRed through which they are selling prints of his maps. The current designs involve six detail posters highlighting the Vignelli map’s design around six stations throughout the city. The posters look great, and the full set of six will run you $300.

It would be ideal to extend the (J) to Broad Street to give the riders at Brooklyn Bridge a connection to Fulton Street to the 2/3.
Or ideally to prospect park
They stopped the J shuttle because it seemed a waste of money. Only a handful riders used the J shuttle and there were alternative routes easily like the N/Q/R at Canal Street where they can transfer or the Bleeker Street to the D.
The Broad street extension would be better since it gives connection at Fulton to transfer to the 2/3 easily
The J Train will be extended to Broad Street on weekends starting later this year, according to the MTA last summer when they proposed service investments for this year.
Despite what was planned and what is still written on the MTA website, Q trains are running local in Brooklyn this weekend.
The F went express southbound this weekend, despite the utter lack of ANY work being performed. There were no workers, no MOW trains, and not even any work flags to be seen. What’s up with that?
