For much of the morning, New York City Transit had a service alert warning of congestion on the 7 line. I wonder if the additional service was responsible for this morning’s delays. The MTA added more express trains and 14 more round trips on the IRT Flushing line, and today was the first weekday with the added service. We’ll have to see how things go tomorrow, but for now, the Subchat posters are keep their eyes on this development.
